Matri is an opportunity for Gujarati youth throughout the United States and the world to meet each other. While our main focus is to give them an opportunity to find a life partner we also encourage them to make friends, business contacts and associates.

MATRI Inc. is a one-day forum created for Gujarati youth between the ages of 21 and 35 interested in finding a life partner. MATRI is actually the Sanskrit term for friendship, which is a key element in any successful marriage..

MATRI was founded by Yashvant P. Patel in 1995. He had envisioned a forum where Gujarati youth could uphold their traditional values while searching for a life partner, using more modern methods.
